Week 13! Still managing to mostly do one a day even with the summer gig season proving it can throw tough weeks at me. The heat from outside gigs had me pretty much wiped out by the time I got home, and this week is also going to be a scorcher/busy one. With that said, I’m not going to have any particular goal set other than trying to get at least one drawing done a day

Week 12 was successful in at least getting me thinking more about my settings/background, but I will have to re-approach it during a week where I have more time. Wish me luck in finding that week! Of course I will continue to have backgrounds in some of my drawings as well so I get to improve more on the fly rather than through focused study. Especially against my drawing nemesis… The table!

Week 12 was also a fun week in that I won a watchers raffle from  fauxfowl whose artwork I love. They’re also taking part in this year’s artfight! I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with that. Go team stardust!
