Yup, every other week seems to be the way it’s going. Hopefully I’ll get back to weekly at some point if I have anything particularly exciting I’m working on from one week to the next that I can’t wait to talk about.

And exciting was really defined by last week. Between the Ser Cheddar, the Lizardman, and the Rock Koala I pulled off some of my favorite pieces since the end of art fight. Also, I’m looking ahead to the coming spooky month and needing to design my appropriate Con Badge for the one that takes place at the end of October.

I’m a little bit older, a little bit wiser, and ready to keep on practicing drawing as I have been! A focus on trying to do better torsos has come to me for this week, I’ll see what I can pull off with that. Trying to get a generic shape down for circumstances where I want to doodle something on the fly rather than working off of a reference all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE references, but sometimes it’s hard to find them for exactly what I’m seeking and I want to just put what’s in my mind’s eye on paper better.
