What week?
Well, my journals may not have a week element to them anymore. I’ve lost way too much track. However I do want to continue posting these periodically just to discuss cool things that I’ve played with/done artistically.
The biggest thing that I enjoyed recently that I just wanted to journal about is the Duck Quixote piece. The duck I usually do is a mallard of course, but getting a chance to do a different feather pattern of duck was a pleasure. On top of it, I was very pleased with how the background came out. I don’t often take days on pieces and put as much time as I did on a piece as I put into that one. Maybe at some point down the road I’ll do something and take a full week instead of 3 days and see how that kind of piece comes out. In the meantime, Duck Quixote is something I am very proud of.
Continuing along I’m trying to keep myself fluent in some of the other types of art that I enjoy/want to continue working on. I’ve done a transformation piece as well as a muscle piece, a bunch of duck/sticker art… but no comics. I have an idea in my head which I started storyboarding out, then just kind of let it sit in my unfinished/sketch folder. Hopefully one day soon I’ll get the inspiration and the world will have a new Panics comic revealed.
Until then, not said often enough lately, thank you to all who Watch, Fave, Comment, and View my pieces. The interaction keeps me ducking along with my art even when I’m busy.
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck
