Not dead, and moving forward.

I'm not dead, not yet. But this journal is important on what I plan to do moving forward.
[What it's like being Suspended]
So about Seven days ago, I came on to my FA page to find it hit with a massive "Access Suspended" out of nowhere. There was no warning, no message from the admins saying "this piece of yours is infringing, please take it down in 16 hours or We'll suspend you", nah, just an instant suspension.
I was completely locked out of everything, I can't access my notes, my journals, my notifications, my submissions so I can edit them, I can't even BROWSE the site. It's absurd. it's like being immediately thrown in prison and with no trial.
And you know the best part? The picture I was suspended for should not have broken any rules! I guess it's because I tagged a picture of a clothed minor with "omorashi" but it clearly mentions in the description that they were in training pants that ended up leaking. It sounds frankly absurd, but I've seen others get suspended for a lot less. Like I think they're going so far as to suspend people over babies in simply wet diapers.
Oh, and by the way, all of this counts as a level 4 offense, if I get suspended again, I'll be banned forever! Hooray! Isn't injustice FUN!?
So here's my tip about getting suspended: Don't get suspended, dummy! I know I know, amazing advice. Use it well!
But in all seriousness, I have more to say.
[FA is still good, but I've lost a lot of faith in it as a babyfur/ABDL artist]
In my opinion, FA is still a good site, it's honestly one of the better art sites left on the internet, with so many others clogged with so much AI slop. And was one of the main reasons I still supported it, but ever since my suspension, and hearing about
Fangthefox's completely unjustified ban, and the fact that certain babyfur artists have been suspended over pictures that SHOULD NOT have broken the rules. lack of warnings and an instant suspension I cannot see coming, I have lost a lot of faith in this site.
Ideally... Upload Policy, Section 2.7 should not apply to some of the pictures people have been suspended over, but they seem to be using it as a reason to specifically hurt babyfur artists. Where even the most innocent picture of a baby character in a wet diaper can get you suspended.
I wouldn't say that FA is swinging the Banhammer with a blindfold on, instead, I think they seem to be explicitly targeting babyfur artists and using the blindfold as an excuse. Have you ever tried to appeal your case against them? Well, they're almost never gonna respond no matter how concise you make it. It's just not up for debate with them. It almost feels like an unjustified Bias against anything babyfur related on their site. And with no power to fight it.
While I really don't want to do this, I will have to take down every image in my gallery of a minor in a used diaper. As much as this sucks, FA and art commissions are my main, (and at the moment), only source of income, and I fear that if I lose it, I might actually lose everything. And even if they ban me wrongly, they seem more than happy to keep it that way, no matter how much you attempt to appeal. I also suggest others who've been suspended before to do the same if they want to avoid a similar fate. (Or at least just replace them with a censor like I've done).
Still, I don't want to just leave all this on a down note, I want you to know that you have to figure out which fights you should take on, and which ones might not be worth fighting. And if the latter, to seek out alternatives into helping your case. Sitting around in a depressive rut moping all day and whinning about how we're all gonna die won't help anything, you'll just dig deeper and deeper into your depression till you hit the damn bottom and end up killing yourself, or even worse, others. Not matter how helpless your situation currently seems, you gotta at least try something.
So, here's my next move, while I've only been suspended, in the event I ever get banned, I will need an alternative, so instead of awaiting the worst, I'm going to act now, as I've been planning to make an account on this other site for some time now, Inkbunny.
[WHY INKBUNNY IS THE GOAT]
Inkbunny seems to be the best choice, I've had a watch account there for some time now, and I am very impressed with some of the site's features, such as how it handles stories, allowing you to break them down into chapters. Another great thing is it's ability to condense multiple images into a single submission, so instead of needing to upload multiple alts, you can just have all your alts in one submission! Oh, and best of all, it supports the MP4 format! So you can upload videos instead of just gifs! (max file size of 100MB)
Oh yeah, and 12000 x 12000 resolution without needing to pay for FA+? I'll take it!
It also has features like a blacklist that lets you block keywords, something FA still doesn't f**king have even after over 10 years, and as it has a proper keyword system, you can actually search for 2 letter keywords, and just has a much better search in general, instead of needing to do lower [artistname] you can just search by artist. Oh, and is there an annoying person spamming AI garbage without tagging it as such? you can just block all their submissions! Or... if they've left tag suggestions on, you can 'help' them with that~
In my opinion IB is essentially a superior version of FA, e621, or any other art site I've seen. But there are a few downsides, although they tend to be more of personal tastes.
Firstly, the site allows for 'cub stuff'. compared to FA's extremely strict no cub policy, IB seems to be pretty laissez-faire about it (unless it involves humans) So just know that is something to potentially expect when moving there.
Second, it's userbase is not as numerous as FA's, but it's still pretty large.
And finally, as I've mentioned, IB is more than happy to accept AI art, and unlike FA, you can't get these losers banned. Depressing, I know. While you can still bully them, I think it's better to just block their submissions.
While Inkbunny will be one of my new main accounts, there are more alternatives out there. Some bad, some good.
[BAD ALTERNATIVES]
Deviantart sucks now, and seems to be utterly bootlicking to corporations and the AI shills, also it's dumbass search is SO BUSTED as they've removed 'relevance' so chances are if you search for something on that site, you will not get what you want AT ALL. Also, they've removed a ton of DA's great features and added in pointless garbage no one cares about. There's a reason I abandoned that site like the plague it's really not worth it.
Bluesky, Mastodon, and "that site", no. They are just garbage sites for sharing art, as they lack things like proper galleries, or search tools. They're honestly sites more for sharing your personal thoughts, farming hatebait, and fighting strangers about political opinions while getting nothing done. They're just terrible and I'm not touching them with a 90 foot pole, or in Twitter's case, kill myself before ever making an account.
[Decent Alternatives]
E621 is another good alternative, with a pretty decent userbase, and the best tagging system of the bunch. The main downside of E621 is that it's more of an imageboard site, similar to Derpibooru, which means that you're mostly going to be known by your artist tag, instead of getting a proper gallery page.
Weasyl is kinda like an FA 2 but honestly, just feels rather lacking at the moment, in terms of users and features. Still, it's a decent backup if you want an extra one.
Anyways, I'll still probably use FA, but in the event anything goes down, here's the link to my Inkbunny account

IF it were, we wouldn't be having these issues, that clearly is a targeted attack against a community. If it were, we'd be having a lot of features that other sites can offer without any issue, and i'm saying this as a 2010 hedgehog in the account username, or able to get an avatar picure of amazing 75kb size.
This site lacks in a lot of Quality of Life features that are quite common nowadays, and it feels we're stuck in what, 2005? When the new design arrived, they threw away a fewature to scroll on next and older pictures.
I do agree IB is the best place to go. At least i don't think i've got a report from someone being targeted by admins there.
In contrast, if you post something that violates Inkbunny's rules, they'll tend to just put the submission in "hidden" mode, which makes it invisible to anybody but moderators and the owner, and you can replace the submission with a censored version or a placeholder with link to offsite content, and then petition them to unhide the fixed submission. That way, you keep the comments, faves, etc. from the original posting.
So since this site hosts "that" content, I genuinely cannot join it without risk of criminal liability - even if I block it, even if I don't watch it. Because it hosts it, and therefore I can have accessed it in the past, etc.
I hope that your time there is fruitful, though!
Re: Weasyl
I'd still avoid that site. It has essentially NO moderation anymore. I've seen a few nazi posts on it, and flagged them over 2 years ago...
The tickets are still unread; so either whoever is moderating this site is okay with pro-nazi content, OR there's nobody at the helm anymore.
Just sayin'...
As for what's going on:
I wish I hadn't deleted my journal calling out that very specific scenario that we're seeing now.
And all the arguments against me. I warned this would happen... and I was essentially told to STFU. *shrugs* So here we are.
I'm genuinely disappointed that this happened to both you and Fang.
Hopefully, alternatives will be worthwhile for the both of you.
And now, to your regular "programming". -_-
I've seen a few crime videos where peeps got caught that way thinking "it's ok bc the kid isn't real"
HOWEVER, they aren't as strict as to outright target people for being in a site with CP. Otherwise twitter would have been had all of us arrested and fined. So there is leadway, you just have to have "a lack of evidence". Aka, if you didn't download it, talk about it, or favourite it, it's not proof.
But yeah, I don't know the people personally nor do I remember the videos because I watch them in bulk, but as I said before, I did see some getting hit due to animated CP in the videos. One had it burned into CDs cops found. On the TSA border show a guy was arrested for the same thing too I believe.
As for twitter (and bluesky too for that matter) I've never EVER run into issues in all my 8 years there unless I purposely traversed out of the specific fandom I wish to interact with. But to be fair, it's probably bc twitter has something similar to what you praise IB for, a filter system. I use it 24/7. You can mute whole accounts, words, phrases, and tags. And the stuff will NEVER pop up on your feed.
so its not like you can just upload anything, they will simply not accept posts with styles they deem to not meet their minimum quality standard
Holy fuck, which admin had a bad day and decided to take it out on every Babyfur/ABDL they see?
Inkbunny duly watched.
I think the only reason I kept it going was specifically because of the steep emotional reaction you had for it when I was on the fence about it in my own journals.
If things do go pear-shaped with your FA gallery though, keep me posted on your whereabouts site wise and I'll see if I can stay in touch.
It's been a dark year for furry AB
although they're no longer doing diaper stuff.
Still if you want to say hi, you probably can
