★ Temporary Delay : Funeral, Family Visit, Denfur, Mega...

★ Hi there everyone~
Hope that you're all doing well and staying cool during the heat of Summer~ Wanted to write a quick update to let everyone know that Captulan ( husband ) and I are doing okay, although still feeling very rough and are processing grief in waves. We're taking one day at a time right now~ We both headed out to be with family last week and recently returned back home. Captulan's Mom's funeral/memorial was the Friday before last; so many people came to tell stories and sing her favorite songs. It was so beautiful to see everyone together remembering her and to get together with family for as long as we could~ We really miss her but are so glad that she's not in pain anymore~ There's still a bit of work and organizing to do with the family but we made it back home safe and sound and are helping out remotely as best we can. Very big thank you everyone who has sent kind words in recent weeks, my apologies for the slow responses while things have been so busy, your kindness means more than words can express right now~<3
This time away to be with family was very important but unfortunately cut into my commission work and convention prep time~ My sincerest apologies again for the delays, thank you so, so much again to my commissioners for their patience and understanding during this very difficult time. I have Denfur and Megaplex back to back in less than 2 weeks and am working as much as I'm able with everything that still needs to be done for both of those~ Commission progress will unfortunately be slower until I get Denfur and Megaplex finished up and am back home again in September. Making stock for 2 conventions back to back in a much shorter amount of time than planned has been intense but am hoping that all the hard work will be worth it~ I am still currently closed for any new commissions while I get caught up and am looking forward to each project that I have in Queue very much! Thank you so much again for all of your support and giving me such lovely projects to work on~ I unfortunately do not currently have a time frame of when I will open for new commissions again but I hope to be able to do so by winter. In the meantime if there is a project that you're interested in commissioning please feel free to reach out with your name and what you would like to get and I can add you to my little waitlist to contact in order once I have slots open again~ Also as always, if any of my commissioners have any questions about their commission in Queue please feel free to reach out anytime and I will respond as soon as I'm able!
Not to sound like a broken record ( although I feel a bit broken at the moment ) but thank you truly so much for all of your kindness and support. This community has been so good to me and I'll be grateful for as long as I live~<3

Processing grief is a heavy experience. We appreciate the updates but you also deserve to be able to take the time to come to terms with your loss. I hope the conventions go well and that you will have peace during this time. 🙏
It is and has been an emotional time~ We're doing our best to ride the emotional waves as they come and talk each other through it. Keeping busy has been helpful for me personally and although I'm a bit slower at the moment I am very glad to have the work 💙 going to do my best and hold hope I'll have more time to process once I get back home in Sept~
