The ADHD test results are in. It's official. I have been diagnosed with ADHD, just without the hyperactivity part. The test results are detailed and brutally honest.
There is allot of emotional things I need to digest on. But right now I feel two things. One I am relieved to know what one of the biggest, if not the biggest inner demon in me is and I can start doing somyhing about it at long last. The second thing is I'm humbled just by how brutally honest the report is.
My only real regret right now is I wish this would have been caught in my childhood as catching it that early would have made a drastic difference in my life. But hey, better late than never.

I was diagnosed with that back in elementary school, myself. But later they figured out I had Asperger's.

If it's not too personal a question, what symptoms of AFDHD have you been diagnosed with? Reading a little about it online, I'm now wondering if my mother has it

I have been diagnosed with ADHD but without the hyperactivity activity part. The big symptoms are a lack of focus, difficulty concentrating, hard time following though on plans, easily distracted. Also bouts of depression and anxiety along with irritability can accompany ADHD. Those with the Hyperactivity part which I don't have, is being restless, overly energetic, can't sit still for long.
