EDIT 10/08: hello hello! so as the days have progressed, i have a lot more information and official warnings now from NHC. so we are officially under a hurricane warning, meaning we will be getting a major portion of the hurricane winds/rain. its already been raining here the last 3 days so the ground is really saturated, flooding and overflowing rivers are a big concern at the moment for my area aswell as the wind and rain.
fortunately, as far as supplies go i am getting help from a few friends for things we needed in case we lose power, and i am very grateful

unfortunately I’m here with some bad news, right now as it’s standing my city is in the direct path of hurricane Milton, and to be quite honest I am very worried. I have lived in FL my whole life but was never old enough to remember getting hit head on by a hurricane like this, and with just happened to NC. :( i am sooo scared.
one thing I am bracing for is to lose power as I live in a semi rural area, and we lose power a lot with regular thunderstorms as it is >: please be advised if this does happen I could be without power for an upward of a couple days to couple weeks. I have cell phone data so as long as my service is fine, I will be updating on my journals ^^
right now though, my dad, sister and I are needing to stock up on essentials such as toilet paper, canned goods, water, and batteries. heavy on the food and water as we do not have a lot of nonperishables at the moment
i have hand picked about a couple dozen designs (including new ones) to hopefully cover the costs of bracing for this storm, and costs for surviving after)

in the meantime, I will be completing what I can of my current queue, and posting some new adopts until the storm hits (which is looking like Wednesday afternoon at the time)
I will also be updating everyone as I can via journals on my situation as it unfolds. I hope everyone else who is in the path of the storm is able to evacuate safely or hunker down safely ❤️ please be safe!
