I Will Be Leaving FurAffinity

First a bit of back story. As many of you know I was part of the babyfur art ban that occurred shortly after BFC (about a month ago now). I was able to reach out to the FA staff and I was able to get my account reinstated within a day or so. A few days after that I was able to start having conversations with members of the FA staff. I offered to help clarify the 2.7 upload policy rules (along with others in the babyfur community). I shared what I thought should be done and I pushed to have clarification; some of my words even appear in the new 2.7.
In my opinion what FA is attempting to do in keeping CP off of the platform is commendable. But I feel the plot was lost. And now the upload policy feels even more restrictive. I will not post logs of the private conversations I had with FA staff member; so don't ask. But for me, I lost confidence when I finally understood (reading between the lines) that the rules were being created because they believe babyfur art is icky.
I signed up to FA on March 22nd of 2007. That's a hell of a long time. LOL. It was fun while it lasted. I WILL BE CLOSING MY FA ON NOVEMBER 16TH, 2024.
I will be migrating my artwork over to Weasyl over the coming months. But I plan to delete everything here on FA. I will hold on to the account, but the only thing that will remain will probably be this post, and a picture directing people to my other social media platforms.

The worst part, I think, is that everything that's happening means the serial-flagger, assuming that's true, has won.
But staying here until we all get banned/"suspended" also means that the anti-babyfur crowd wins.
Just a matter of timeline at this point.
I'm not blaming you for leaving. Far from it. I get it, and I respect your decision.
It's just a crime that it came down to this. :\

I think it is unacceptable that they are calling it CP. If they want to ban it because they find it gross, its their platform, let them do what they want and bear the consequences, but enough of this defamation of character, gaslighting, and psychological warfare. Say it is because you find it gross you fucking cowards, stop accusing innocent people of being pedophiles just because you don't like their art, that shit isn't okay.
It gave me cultural whiplash, because ever since I joined FA 15 years ago when I was 15, it was always firmly understood that babyfurs were harmless fetishists just like any other fetish within the fandom. That culture is gone now, and it seems the new furs believe it's normal to ruin people over liking diapers(or ferals, and god knows what's on the chopping block next!).
I can't say I wanna go back, because there isn't an idyllic time. I joined IB the first exodus when I was just 17 because I saw this strict harsh rule tightening happening eventually; and even though I was against cubs in general back then, I still recognized eventually that censorship would affect even the "innocent" furs. I see it's finally happened.
I've been following you for all these years and sad to see you go, but I'm leaving too. This website gives me such bad vibes knowing my account is on its last leg due to ABDL chibi diaper art(not porn!!), meanwhile the abusers who actually harmed me as a minor(even via using this site!) are still welcomed here even years after the abuse took place.
FA will always hold a bittersweet part of my heart.
The AR / BF / DL community have always tried best not to judge others vices but perhaps its time they should and abandon this place. As an Artist I appreciate your style and attitude of not to take crap. So thanks for passing on your thoughts and sharing your communication.
i think for the 1st time i can say it......... i don't feel welcome in the furry fandom anymore and it no longer feels like a warm hug of fluffy goodness and welcoming.
sadly i will continue to begrudgingly stay and go down with the ABDL ship on FA tell its the end of days.
