The fact that you did OVER TEN edits and revisions, acted kindly and all that is already going far and beyond. But the fact that on top of that they just outright insulted you?! The audacity of some people.

I am no artist but I imagine as one you want to make your clients comfortable, however the moment someone starts to verbally assault you, that's a good cue to thank them for commissioning you, issuing a partial refund and refusing further contact.

I'm so sorry to hear you had such a dreadful experience, here's hoping the rest of commissions are a more pleasant experience.

For what it's worth, I may've not commissioned you, but I'd like to let you know that in my honest opinion, your art is absolutely stunning, the attention to detail is so well taken care of and the way you draw certain species makes them look so cute~!

What the heck? I dun get people like that and while I can see how it can take you down don't let em. Art is what you like? Why letting a a bad example for the most of the comissioners out there ruin what you like and what your decent and kind comissioners like. Black list for em note their details and when you see em again ignore em. (Do not block just ignore)

Yikes, sorry you had to deal with that. I’ve worked in retail and sometimes customers are just unhinged and for no fault of your own. Sounds like they were are just a miserable person in general.
