If you're going to go to the effort to post something online, in a public forum. You shouldn't be allowed to block replies, you can put someone on your block list but that's different than blocking replies to a journal or a piece of art because you know those who see it won't agree with you.
If you just want to post something and not care about who says what about it, you can just ignore the replies, simple as that.
Disabling replies or hiding someone's reply speaks more or your thin skin and nothing else. A thick skin is required in the real world.

It's a cowardly thing to do, and I'll never understand why/how people think THEY can spout-off whatever THEY like, and yet other people are not given the same courtesy/respect.
I'm 100% in support of EVERYONE having the Right to Freedom of Speech, and only shut them down if they go out of their way to be insulting/obnoxious just to troll.
Unfortunately, these days, esp. with this modern electronics, doesn't see people having to defend/explain themselves, face-to-face, and taking the cowards' way out of anything is now the rule instead of the exception.
'Interesting times' indeed.

One of the better jokes I've heard is that one party blew through a billion dollars in three months and still lost. The question to ask is whether you really want someone that bad with money deciding what to blow your tax dollars on? And the number of idiots that promised they'd leave this country if he won should help make up for all those that freely crossed our boarders.
We have a business man back in the hot seat, and he's putting together a team that might actually care more about our country than that last pair did.
I'm feeling a lot more hopeful than I did a week ago ...
And he's only got four year to not only undo the current dumper fire, but try to put things in place so that the next idiot in chief we get can't screw things like the last pair did ...
