I hope you all are doing well! And if the new year has opened up to new challenges, please remember to take it a day at a time <3
I’m looking to have some significant focus changes this year, especially in my art. As to whether it happens or not, we’ll see, haha! I’m wanting to try some more experimental things with my art and my process, and I have NO Idea what that’s going to look like. My art style already has a lot of uh… variation that I can’t really control, so I’m wanting to just try new things, see what works for me and what actually helps me get some forward progress with my craft. I’ll warn you guys if commission slots are going to be experimental styles or not. <3 I’d really love to up my skills in a variety of ways, so I’m hoping the end result is going to be a good payoff.
Other than that, how are you all doing? Got any fun new years resolutions, any new characters or plans for creative endeavors?

My theme for this year is 'optimism.'
Don't have a lot in the way of concrete resolutions for this year myself (I've always got a bunch of random creative pursuits on my plate, but I rarely set hard goals for them,) but I am hoping to get my second novel back underway after taking a long hiatus to figure out some things that were stumping me on it :)
Happily, I've actually been making some real strides in getting past what I was stuck on, lately. Still need to finish some important planning stuff and build up enough of a buffer to where I can be comfortably sure of powering through to The End, but after almost two years of being mostly stuck, it's a really good feeling to be making progress on it :)
