🌿updates, lack of uploads, bluesky, ect!🌿

hello all! just wanted to pop in to say hi and give a few updates.
first off, i want to thank you all again for your patience with me lately. The past few years have been really rough and its unfortunately put me behind in work for way way longer than id ever wanted to. weve gone through a lot of things, a lot of stuff i havent really brought up to many people, from deaths of my wifes mother, my nephew being kidnapped by his abusive dad(he was returned home safely, dont worry!), our bathroom floor collapsing, car troubles, emergency situations with our pets, covid, and unfortunately much more!!
ive kept my telegram group mostly up to date on these things but i often feel like im making excuses even though logically i know that these are all pretty valid reasons for me to be falling behind. but sheesh, it certainly has been one thing after another.
I have been, and will continue to take as little work on as possible while i work through my backlog. sadly i can not afford to stop taking on new commissions entirely because we have no other source of income! but i really do wanna kick my butt back in to gear this year and finish everything i owe!
i do also want to note that my trello is NOT up date right now. I use trello solely as a public queue, not for my own personal organization, so you dont need to worry about me forgetting you! i have my own private organization for owed commissions, my trello only ever existed because of how often i was asked about a public queue, and right now, keeping it up to date just takes more time and energy out of me actually working on art. but please do not hesitate to ever message me for updates! once my queue is more under control i do plan on using my trello again
next order of business! The reason i havent been uploading any finished art recently! a bit of a silly reason, but basically, a lot of artwork was deleted from my ipad. I was trying to clean up some storage space on my ipad by syncing all my pictures to the cloud, but unfortunately part way through the sync it said my ipad didnt have enough storage to complete it, and everything that had already started syncing was deleted off my ipad :') thankfully its not lost forever, it all synced to my phone, and i still have all the PSD files in medibang! but all the synced files are jumbled up in almost 15,000 other photos, soooo sorting through those is a pretty daunted task.
i feel bad at the thought of not uploading someones commission just because i dont feel like sorting though some photos but i think at this point i will just have to skip on those ones and start uploading what i do still have saved.
lastly, i just wanted to share my bluesky accounts! Id like to work on fully moving away from twitter, especially now given recent events! im not fully set up there yet but i wanted to go ahead and share anyways

hope you guys have all been well! in better news we got some snow this week, not a lot of it, but i always love it. my little canadian brain needs at least one snowfall per winter or i get sad</3
we also adopted a dog last month! hes a pomeranian chihuahua mix with a tragic backstory and he does a handstand when he pees :)
