State of the Cougar - March

Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well.
Been quiet for several weeks due to computer issues, lost my main storage drive and been trying to replace it while recovering as much data as I could. I hate losing in-progress projects. I was able to recover about 95% of the data thankfully.I find it funny how I have more issues with newer SSD drives than I do with my old reliable external WD backup drive that I've had for more than 10 years. Go figure right? Our ISP has been "upgrading" our internet, but it's been buggier more than usual. In-laws called them out to look at things and they said "oh, its the wires in your house, not our problem" yet suddenly things are working a little better. If I can be sure things are going to work reliably I'll be streaming again.
Medically it's been hit or miss, I was feeling better until I bent over to pick up something and felt/heard a popping in my lower back and suddenly I couldn't lift anything and am biting my tongue not to scream when I transition from sitting to standing or the other way around. My Dr sent me directly to the ER and they did a CT scan. Nothing major, other then some degeneration of the disks that they could see. They gave me enough pain pills that at least I can move and muscle relaxers that do help but knock me out like a light, and told me to follow up with an orthopedic specialist for an MRI (which they didn't have).
Mentally I'm still struggling with not being able to do alot of things that I used to do so easily, but that's just the way it is.
Hopefully y'all will see more activity from me in the coming month.
Until next time, stay safe out there.

Glad you and Panda Wife are still hanging in there. Cat Wife has had surgery to free up a trigger thumb on her right hand, and now she has to do it for the left as well. Every day you stay ahead of the Wolf, you're doing good.
Best wishes and more prayers,
Catgirlz
