Another year gone by. Also a big change coming.
With this month hitting that means one thing for me. My birthday is approaching. Hard to believe that I’ll be turning 44 years old this year on the 15th of this month.
As for the big change, a few months after my birthday I’ll be making a big move from Southern California to Boise Idaho. Things are already getting ready to be packed up, moving truck set up, got people to help with the moving, pretty much everything taken care of. I know that weather will be a big change over there and I’m honestly looking forward to it. Might get my first white Christmas ever. Family will be a lot closer than they currently are. Rent will be what we’re currently paying for our townhouse in California and the new place is much bigger, has a 3-4 car garage, front and back yard, much bigger rooms among other things and my cousin who owns the place and is renting it to us said he wouldn’t raise our rent of $2,000 a month.
This big move is the main reason I haven’t been able to afford to commission much new art recently. Saving money for the move and since I’ll possibly be out of a job for about 6 months (depending on employment laws over there.) so gotta try to cover myself for as long as I can with what I’ve get from work between now and then, outside of paying my mom the rent I owe her each month.
Best wishes to all of you, even if times seem rough I hope you come through and remember that there’s those who do love and care about you, even when you don’t feel it.

Also, I hope you have a safe and smooth move up to Boise when the time comes! :3
The early days after the move will be the roughest trying to find work (if I’m allowed to depending on state laws. Some states require you to be a resident for a certain amount of time before you can apply for a job.) Having family about 10 minutes away instead of about an hour away will be a huge plus. I know it’ll be a big adjustment weather wise, as it’ll get cold enough to snow and honestly that excites me as I might experience my first natural white Christmas. I know that snow comes with its own driving hazards just like rain, most likely even more dangerous than rain. We’ll definitely adjust as quickly as possible and most likely have help when we need it.
Omg Im so excited for you to hopefully experience your first real white Christmas later this year tho!! Thats so cool!
Absolutely. Going to a place that uses snow machines isn’t the same as experiencing/living in a place where it snows for real. I’ve been in snow, just never lived in a place that naturally has it or experienced an actual snowfall. I absolutely feel ready for the new experience. I’ll give me more of an opportunity to wear my kigu of my character Breki, as it keeps me pretty warm. Perfect for the wintertime weather. Especially Christmas.
