I know a lot use X, DeviantArt, BlueSky, and Facebook as platforms as well.

Bsky, Itaku, Furaffinity, a personal telegram channel, my patreon discord, and if I have time and its kinky e621
I also post SFW stuff to tumblr

Ss far as engagement goes, I see the most traction on FA and telegram. Itaku is pretty quiet generally. Sometimes stuff pops off on tumblr.

I see some people use DeviantArt still (though, I have no idea if it's even trusted anymore since they allowed AI), Twitter is pretty large and I know a lot of furries use. Probably the only other dedicated "furry" site akin to FA is E621. I know some artists post stuff to instagram as well. Just a few options from my limited knowledge (I really don't have or consume a lot of social media).

I also see some go to BlueSky, but it's heavy on censorship in certain aspects (usually political beliefs, alienating half or more of the possible users), as well as some issues regarding less than savory content, and it's barely been growing any more than it already has. I've already seen several artists who left Twitter for Bluesky, vowing to never use Twitter, people who have large followings (12k+ here on FA), already returning to Twitter because of lack of engagement on Bluesky.

You can try Weasyl. It doesn't get a lot of traffic, though.

Having a telegram channel would help.

I see a lot of people use Twitter/Bluesky. But your images are more compressed and they aren't designed as art sites. I don't think there are any sites used strictly more than FA. Well, you could count E621, but it is more of a referral tool and the UI is from the dinosaur age.

Mastodon's pretty nice, if you can find a server you like. The big furry ones like meow.social or yiff.life seem pretty good an stable. I'm on a pretty small one but they all connect together, so it doesn't matter much in that regard.

I dropped Twitter years ago and never got on Bluesky.

Weasyl is good, but it's very quiet. SoFurry is busier and pretty robust.
