Spent a night at the hospital.
I was already at the hospital for intense pain two weeks ago. I am carrying a kidney stone. Haven't felt any pain in that period of time at all, but last night I felt pressure and pain build.
It was still manageable at the early stages so instead of calling our version of 911I called the nighttime general practition. They told me to come to the Emergency aid at the hospital immediately. Luckily I had family awake at 1:30AM to drive me otherwise I would have asked for an ambulance as I noticed the pain and pressure building faster
During the car ride it kept getting worse and Worse and WORSE. I didn't know which way to sit and was huffing and puffing and yowling in pain. When we arrived the emergency aid department I was crying and howling from the pain.
The general practitioner who was by coincidence is my normal doctor doing nightshift hours gave me Morphine and I was told to wait untill it kicks in. The pain was already subsiding a bit before I got the shot. So we waited 20 minutes but the pain didn't go away. Instead it actually increased! Once again more crying from the sheet amount of pain I received. I was brought into another room for scans of my bladder where the pain subsided again for a bit before coming back stronger ONCE AGAIN. This shit was happening in waves now with each one worse than the last even though I received a second shot of Morphine.
Urologist finally arrived, they were on call at home so that's why it took a little while. They said it's most likely my kidney stone is trying to enter my bladder now. I already had a CT scan scheduled for Thursday but she moved it up to the next morning.
I think I got a painkiller specifically designed for lower abdomen pain, which finally started to combat the pain. All the Morphine was making my head woozy at that point, so I couldn't really safely walk. I dropped in a hospital bed and managed to get some shuteye for a few hours.
Now I am waiting on getting that CT scan, the results of which will determine what will happen next.
TLDR: Kidney Stones REALLY hurt. Am in the hospital now for one.
