My mother just went back to the hospital. She had some kind of seizure, and was incoherent. My dad had to call an ambulance. And they had to force her out of the house. And she kept trying to tell me something. But over and over again she was saying something about boarding something up. And then she tried to mouth it to me. She was acting like it was some kind of conspiracy. She might be in the hospital for a week again.... Last time it was for severe vitamin deficiency. Might be the same thing again this time. I remember her doctor told her to stop taking the pills that help with water retention. But my mother didn't want to stop taking them because her ankles would swell, and she'd find them ugly. But those damn pills were eating up the potassium in her system. Plus, she won't quit drinking. It doesn't take much alcohol at all to get her drunk anymore. Something tells me the doctors are really gonna let her have it this time.
