Ok, so.... A couple of days ago I bought a new microwave. Turned out to be too big, overpowered, and it had this weird electronic lock system that required me to press another button just to open it after activation. What's more, said button was tiny and barely noticeable. And I hated it. So I returned it yesterday for a smaller one that was Black & Decker brand. It was the only other microwave in the discount store that I even considered, and it was $20 cheaper than the first one I picked. The replacement microwave has a black interior and a dim light inside, and it also cooks too fast. And, it also has the fucking electronic lock system on it!

I googled this electronic lock, and found that it's a child lock, and it's a requirement for all new digital microwaves since 2024! Thankfully the one I just got has a system to disengage it, and I managed to figure it out. That said, the inside of the microwave is really dim, and it cooks stuff too fast, just like the last one. It started to overcook a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich at just a minute and thirty seconds. It's got the same problem as my old microwave. It cooks things too hot in the center of the plate, So I have to move the breakfast sandwich to the edge of the plate to cock it right. I just can't win....
