Oh i know that pain.. My wife is on Disability and we have to fight to keep it for her. Hell in the start of 22 she got fully removed from Disability cause they claimed she did not see her Doctors enough since 2020.. So they claimed she was fine. Took us 6 months to fight to get her back on.

Some years ago I sold a couple bikes on facebook, and suddenly I was getting my disability reevaluated. I haven't sold anything on facebook since. It's REALLY heavily government monitored, and SS doesn't like you having any sort of extra income. I also used to get both SSD and SSI, now I just get SSD, and SSI paid me one last time by mistake, and I had to pay them back with a payment plan. But I suddenly got a letter saying they were going to garnish me. We went to the SS office, and got the most unfriendly and unhelpful teller there, and even filed a complaint about her. Came back the next day, got it all sorted, and found out some overzealous idiot who worked for the department typed up that letter and sent it to me. They ended up just canceling the debt entirely since it was their oversight to begin with.

I only know California law but can you ask for a hearing and or an advocate?

I'm in Oregon. So not too different from California. But that's pretty much what I'll be doing on Wednesday.

I know how you feel dude. I'm supposed to have health insurance from my job but the provider has yet to actually send me my card. Every time I call its always 'Oh yeah. We're mailing it to you. Give it a few weeks'. Guess its gonna be another year without insurance. Good thing I'm indestructible...
