Status Update - Getting my Head Together + Happy 4th^^

Hiya everyone, Happy Independance Day :D
I hope everyone has been doing well, for the past month I have been radio silent and my attention was focused on working on the model for my fursona Magna and also more importantly trying to get myself into a more positive mindset, plus trying to boost my spirits. I am still working on it and have largely been taking a break from being online, I think what I needed to do was to take a step back, hence why I have barely been active. To really help me out I have been gaming hard for the past few days, I have the bloodshot eyes to prove it XD Been a blast jumping between Sniper Elite 4 and Rogue Trader and no worries I have calmed down quite a bit.
Speaking of an update, as I am sure most already know, SoFurry's old site is going down on monday permanetly and is going to be migrating everything to the beta site for the new version. Now I am unsure, if when this automatically happens it means our accounts and our ability to log in is also going to be fully transfered or if we have to manually switch over before monday... no idea because the staff of SF don't really communicate all that well.
Now after calming down and giving it a lot of thought I had decided to give SoFurry another shot, then the site notification I just briefly said popped up and now I have no idea. The problem for me is that SoFurry Beta just doesn't look great and from what I have heard is less than what the old site is... which is amazing because this beta has been up longer than I have been on there, I assumed since I have been on SF for about four and a half years this beta has been a thing for five maybe six years but it turns out it has been around the 10 year mark based on the little info there is.
I am not going to lie, given my expirence with SF is mixed to put it lightly I am on the fence of joining this beta site or not. Being realidtic about it, this thing should not be in beta anymore, it should be a fully functioning site by now and the fact it doesn't have half the functionality of the old site based on what I have seen does paint quite a picture. I am sorry, but are the people behind SF like the Adeptus Mechanicus where they need to have an STC to do or implament anything? Still no way to upload a good sized mp4 file, no groups are in place and I am guessing you can't really organize things with the poor algoritham also being a thing... so it is litterally going to be a worse version of what currently exists which I didn't think was possible. Heck some can't even migrate their account to the beta site or they are having issues trying to and others are simply announcing they are done with SoFurry altogether.
*Sighs* I haven't been shy when it comes to my thoughts on SF, I have lost count how many times I have tried to get the community of SF to realize things could be a lot better and to try to voice them to the SF admins or even just talking about it, yeah eventually it went from trying to give feedback to tough love then to me really just calling it out. I am sorry, but this new site should NOT be still in a beta, it should be fully functional with all the problems fixed and be on par with DA's functionality at least. More importantly, why this migration stuff, why not just update the old site like how DA does it's updates and how FA does it's as well? And I am going to take a good guess and say it is still just going to be more of the same but with a new paint job.
I have be tough on SoFurry, it is clear that those in charge have basically no clue what they are doing and to the community the SF still has I have an honest question. Do you realistically expect this new site to go anywhere? I ask this, because unlike most, I have been very vocal on how SF can be and get better but it really does seem the community has just let it stagnate and regress... again... Adeptus Mechanicus. Now to be fair half of me feels it could go somewhere and be better, but looking at it objectively I do have a lot of doubt to say the least, that is not from me being cold or anything, it is just the SF community seems pretty non-existant overall and from what I can tell doesn't voice much of anything or at all. And if they have been communicating to the admins all this time, than the admins just don't want to improve what they have and just ignore what comes their way. How else am I suppose to really interperate this?
As it stands, I am 50/50 on either going onto the new SoFurry or not to see how it turns out, heck I have no idea how to do the migration from the old site to the beta site either before the switchover.
I know I have been hard on SoFurry, but I would like to see it get better and because I do think it could make a comeback, it just has to stop fumbling and tripping all over itself.
