My eldest nephew thought he'd give his mother another chance to come around, and he just went to talk to her. She apparently still doesn't have a job at the moment, and is living in a house with a bunch of dogs that stinks something fierce. My sister has apparently just been passing the blame on everything, and denied a whole bunch of things she did. My nephew called her out on her drug abuse, and they fought. Then he had to leave, and he was unfamiliar with the area, so I had to go out and get him at like 10 pm. I bought him dinner, and he's spending the night in my camper. Poor kid has only just gotten his first job. He can't stay with us full time, because we don't live in a place near bus stops, my parents and I are all on fixed incomes, and I can't afford to spend money on gas driving him back and forth so much. I'm gonna have to get him to work early in the morning tomorrow, and we need to figure out where he's staying from there. He's gonna have to save for the rest of summer to be able to afford his first apartment. He'll probably have to have a roommate too. He can't go back to his dad, because he doesn't live near bus routs either. So right now he's couch surfing. If he had a job much closer, it'd be easier for him to stay with us. But he doesn't have a driver's license, and he's broke till payday. He's only working part time, so he's not making a lot till he can get a full time job. I'm gonna try and convince him to apply to a local small store a couple miles from us. His mother used to work there, but the place is under new ownership now. So it's a clean slate. Either way, that's the current situation.
