Ok, so.... With how much I've seen curry in Japanese related stuff, I kept wondering why the stuff to make it wasn't in my local super markets. Curry Roux they call it. So I thought I'd just get on ebay to see if they had it. They did, and I bought a couple for about $11 each. But then I was in my local Winco today, and thought I'd check if they had it just for the hell of it. And it was there! The exact same stuff for $6 a box! I grabbed two, and when I got it to the cashier, she wasn't even aware they'd started carrying it. So it must have been pretty recent. Either way I'm gonna be stocked for curry to make hot winter food at home.
