Late 39th Birthday updates

Well as I now feel like I've recovered (somewhat) from this weekend, thought it was about time I wrote something...
So yeah, I turned 39 yesterday and had my usual Birthday Bash with friends, which was a fun and exhausting weekend (both physically and mentally) and on my Birthday itself had a mostly quiet day and went out for a meal at an Italian restaurant. Although the build-up to the weekend was very stressful, all in all I'd say it was a fun time.
Played a long One-Shot of Call of Cthulhu which I set in the Winchester Mystery House back in 1923... and boy was researching that stressful in and of itself... though ultimately, I feel like the game went well... I mean I'm not that good at "horror"... I don't find many things scary, but I tried to come up with an interesting and "spoopy" mystery and I think it went down well enough at least XD
There have been a number of other things that made the build-up to this weekend stressful, this year's Birthday pic for one was particularly stressful pretty much throughout its whole creation process... that and having to deal with contractors regarding work I'm planning on getting done to my garden and getting some new glasses (which I picked up today)...
Also, I opened up for commissions the other day and quite quickly filled up (as you can probably imagine) as I've got like 15 on the list and about 3-5 people in a waiting list of sorts on top of that... and Commission stuff has been a whole kettle of fish in itself... as various things haven't worked out as well as I'd hoped... so despite wanting to avoid using paypal, I've still ended up needing to use it as it's frustratingly just simpler to deal with than ACTUAL banks T.T
So yeah... this year has been a bit much... but I would say I feel at least better than I did last year...
So that's something... right?
Anyway, thanks again for all the birthday wishes and I'll be getting back to work on commissions
