Interesting Bear Facts: Fursona/OC Crushes

Hello, fellow furries, it's time for another Interesting Bear Facts segment. This time, I'll be talking about some fursona and OCs that I admire and have crushes on. I have a journal showing a list of my character crushes, and I figured that it would be easier to have a separate list where one is dedicated to media characters while this one is dedicated to fursonas and OCs. The inspiration came from this trend on BlueSky, where "one like = a fursona/OC crush". Here's a list of my current crushes (I may update this over time if I see someone new):
• LeonPaws516's OC Gray — This shapeshifting monster is adorable. Gray is an OC who can shapeshift and his navel is a pocket dimension. Although he can't see, he has other strong senses to compensate for it. When I first saw Gray, I was curious to learn about him seeing how different he was from Leon's cast. I often chat with Leon asking questions about Gray, I talk about him more than anyone else. What got me to notice him was his magic belly button, he's able to stretch it out and can fit in a lot in the endless void. I've seen some examples of his powers where a whole person can fit in there and there's no end to it. He interested me so much that I wanted to learn more about his backstory and even get commissions with the monster. I've gotten a few so far and it looks like Gray now has a strong friendship with the blue bear even wearing the crop top that Beary got for him. Will indeed get more with Gray and maybe help out Leon with expanding Gray's story.
• LeonPaws516's OC Gib — a brand new OC Leon made for Year of the Snake. It is rare to see snake characters in the fandom as most of the time they're all feral or all anthro, Gib is different as he's a mixture of both. Chatting with Leon I've gotten to know more of Gib and his character. It is cool seeing how one can make a feral animal more anthro with the right touches. Gib looks like a cool guy to hang out with seeing that he's a fellow gamer along with dressing in warm clothes and liking the warmer weather. Just like most of Leon's OCs, Gib keeps his belly exposed, I do like that trait of his cast where they're fat and proud of being fat to not cover-up. With gib's size and his exposed fat belly, it's perfect for hugs. I'm looking forward to learning more about Gib and seeing more of his personality.
• Jackaloo's Internship comic OC Emery Waldren — When I started reading this comic, Emery was a fan favorite for me. He's very attractive and the type of guy I would see myself dating. Even though he's an important boss, he's still very caring seeing that he's also a father too. Seeing how much he cares about Andy shows that he's a great guy and wants the best for him. I also love his relationship with Noah seeing how they connect and also include Andy in their activities especially when it involves sex. His side comic Falling Flat was also a nice treat learning more about him and that he wants companionship more than anything. He's one I would date especially if it means getting to admire his big sexy gut.
• Jackaloo's Internship comic OC Gary — The prime example of a handsome himbo. I didn't think much about Gary at the time until I saw more of him in part three of the comic and in the side comic The Gardener. Gary is like that one guy you can go to and he's very supportive and outgoing. He gives off pansexual vibes being very comfortable with his sexuality not even having to think twice about it like how he kissed Cooper for a dare and being comfortable around Emery bumping guts with the daddy doggo and having oral sex. The side comic was even the inspiration for my commission as it was originally gonna have just Emery but I added Gary to the mix after reading it. He's indeed boyfriend material and he's someone who looks like he wouldn't mind dating the same sex and goes with the flow enjoying quality time with someone.
• Maleki's OC Parches — One of my favorites from Maleki. Originally Parches started as a nameless bear but was soon getting more attention. Parches is an interesting character as there's some backstory of him being worked on talking about his past making him who he is today. He's a great boxer never giving up, I love just how determined and eager he is. He's also great with his fans always happy to meet them. Maleki loves working on Parches and I can see why, I'm always talking about him whenever the two of us chat even getting a commission with the boxing bear. I saw that there was a YCH with Parches and I wanted one like that but with some changes, I've noticed that Parches is often wearing shirts that are on the smaller side, and was revealed that he has a crop top too. Knowing that I asked for a commission with Parches wearing his crop top and being proud of his fat belly. It won't be the last commission as I do want to get more with Parches showing Maleki how much I admire his OC.

There are so many fantastic characters, and it's fun seeing just how creative people can get with character creation.
