Smidgin, my CH kitty passed away today after a short illness.

His CH condition made his legs splay out so he didn't walk as much as sashay but it never slowed him down. He had a funny way of running and kept up with Danny when they went outside.

Whenever I returned home from being out he would run up to me purring loudly in greeting and purred louder when I picked him up.

In the evening he would poke my butt to let me know it was time to go to bed and race to the bedroom and jump on it waiting for me.

Danny and him finally made peace and they would always eat together and often slept near each other during the day.

He was a good cat and I'll miss him terribly.
