The cat distribution system is at it again!

After losing Smidgin, Danny suffered as much as I did. I wasn't sure I wanted to get another cat for a while but decided it would best for Danny's wellbeing. ( those sad meows hurt a lot ) As I volunteer at The Scratching Post occasionally, I began a search for a companion for him. I would sit down in the main room and see who would come up for scritchies and see how they acted around other cats. There are a lot of different personalities, so I was looking for someone who would get along with Danny.
Two would jump in my lap each time I came in, bump noses, and purr. Conner, a tabby mix, would run across the room to see me. TicTac, a grey tabby, would also follow me around as I gave attention to the others. Connor won out in the end and I brought him home. Danny was a bit leery at the stranger but didn't hiss or growl. Amazingly they ate together and otherwise ignored each other for a bit. Now they follow each other around the house and lay down next to my chair when I'm in the computer room.
I renamed Conner to Smooch because he is alway playing kissyface with me. Sometimes it makes it hard to type when he is feeling friendly, but I don't mind.
Welcome home Smooch! https://i91.servimg.com/u/f91/11/21.....9/img_0314.jpg
