If any of them had stood up to her, I'd understand the use of a song from a movie I absolutely DESPISE, but since it seems none of them did, I see it as a bit insulting.

If you're going to say or do something mean to/about someone, please have the courtesy to do it at least once while they're still alive.

Sounds like a few managers I've had to work under. Not everyone is in a position to openly oppose them. I've used corporate policy against them. The fun of being lawful evil personality type irl.So much fun when corporate compliance and security show up and find you are the only sales /cashier following company policy and not the halfassed stuff the wicked witch was making folks follow. Long story but it ended with her being allowed to take 18 months leave and retire. Got her out of everyone's hair. Store call sign for when she left her office in a mood was a few musical notes from Wizard of Oz. The bit of music played when the nasty woman was on her bicycle. That would be heard over the pa or passed on person to person
