“Just ask Google”
The new ad campaign for Google is ai slop and the tagline is “Just ask Google”. Bitch that’s your job.
Also: note “Ask”. If a trademark becomes widespread enough, it loses its protections under US copyright law because its generic and descriptive of a thing. Think “Roller blades”, “Airfryer”, “video tape”, etc. Kleenex has been fighting this for YEARS, and I get the feeling Google wants to fight everyone saying “Just Google it” as a generic term for search so they don’t lose their trademark protections. SO REMEMBER TO GOOGLE STUFF WHEN YOU NEED TO SEARCH!!!!

Heh. Good catch. Thinking along those lines: it's too bad for them how "google" and "googleplex"(sp?) already existed before them and Xcite, etc.!
