Ate A Bag of Jerky
I ate a small packet of 'Kings Wagyu Beef Jerky' and noticed afterwards that there wasn't an oxygen absorber inside, as per usual. The second packet I opened to check for the absorber had one, and it was a thumb-tip-sized piece of plastic with the words 'DO NOT EAT' written on it, so I'm pretty sure I'd have noticed if I'd somehow eaten one. The jerky from the first packet didn't smell or taste funky, either.
I doubt I'll die a horrible death in the coming days, but on the off-chance I vanish forever, just know I died a fool's death by either consuming a fucking plastic oxygen absorber OR eating bad jerky.
(But for real, I'm not terribly worried. I like to think I'd notice if I were chewing on a piece of plastic or eating rancid meat. I was just confused as to why there wasn't an absorber in the packet. More so curious if anyone else has ever had this happen? As in, getting a packet of jerky that didn't have an absorber inside.)

I like to think I'd notice if I were chowing down on rancid meat lmao.
