DragonStuff.exe has begun.
Yay!
Post-covid lungs fucking me here and there, but today went well.
Dog to new vet, she has her librela (painkiller, monthly) injection. It's ten mins away on flat ground VS 45 mins up two bastard up hills so ^-^; big glad.
Leak not fixed, no idea when the next step will be against that....or WHAT it will be. Bit annoyed lol.
Doing okay though. Slowly making sure the place is cleaned, cardboard is taken out, etc.
Like, very slowly. Post-covid fuck lungs just...start and go on for hours and are incredibly exhausting.
But it's nice here, even with the incredible amount of rain. There's always a good breeze through the place if we want, places are quite accessible.
I'm happier here <3.

As for the leak, if it's something you can fix yourself that's worth considering. I myself found myself in a similar situation with the fixtures.
I'm not really a DIY kind of guy :-P

It must be difficult to get things done around the house while dealing with post Covid symptoms. Hopefully, they won’t last long.
Did you mention the leakage to your landlord? By law, landlords are usually responsible for major repairs and maintenance, such as fixing leaks.
Not to my landlord, but to the real estate agent. Repeatedly. I haven't been told what's happening when and they at this point had a full 72 hours to investigate & relay this basic information to me, so I am quite annoyed on that front actually!
But on the first point, I'm *absolutely confident* I will enjoy the Netherlands. The one week taster during my visit in 2024 was just wonderful ;_;.

Waiting up to 3 weeks for an appointment is crazy, and it seems like everything related to housing is an absolute nightmare right now.
I hope your luck turns around soon!
Housing is a big fat fucking RIP. We got really lucky one of the first places that bothered to write back to us offered to let us move in, honestly X_X.

I just have to bide my time a little week. Absolutely any job that isn't morally objectionable (Anything with kids, or animal cruelty \ butcher) is fine at 20 hours a week. At 30 I get good work\life balance and can save up a fair bit! *wag wag*
