Heya gamers
Hope you've all been doing the best you can. Just making one of these since in the mood to chat to folk, DMs are semi-open on discord and telegram, just as long as you've something that's common ground.
Thought I'd journal my thoughts here for you to check up at least.
Not gonna lie, been feeling a bit of that burnout lately, so thought I'd at least voice something so I'm not stuck with my head spinning and going nowhere.
For commissioners:-
Probably going to hit a pause on new larger commissions this month until October to give me some time to clear my 'large comms'.
Smaller ones that are usually just one pose or shot will be fine, just no more sequences, or things with 4 different alts this month. If you've already approached me for something that's probably going to be worked on this next week.
I kinda wanna cook on something for October too, maybe another multislot YCH, feeling something with either Thula (reality mage), Nyxxi (fat assed sleep demon) or Charo (corruption panda), or all three of them.
For gamers:-
Good news, I've started progress on something new, bad news, I've barely started on it. Mostly because I've been thinking about what I want it to be, and I've started to settle on a 2D arena mage thing, destructible terrain, TF spells to change controls or fuck with opponents, customisable goobers, hooopefully online play but this is something I've got a lot to learn about so might appreciate some help there.
So far I've created the base controls (movement, jumping, fireball jumping etc) and noise generation for levels, though this is merely an experiment since tilesets in Godot are kind of ass for doing terrain destruction and open to change it. If anyone is familiar with stuff like soldat or worms, feel free to throw in suggestions.
Also, as much as I want to make more lewd games, the turning of the cosmic wheel has this less appealing these days, maybe when the paypals and the mastercards of the world get less prudy competition in the west.
For the record, if a character is in any of my games, it's open property to draw or comm if you want, I'd just prefer you prod someone else for it first, so people don't think it's canon :v
