thats a really fun trope actually, yeah! makes me realize i dont see nearly as many cloth diapers in stories and art, and that i wish there were more of that.

for me i think my favorite thing is when the characters just to just have fun doing little things, and we get to see the world from that perspective, and how much fun everything can be, and how much bigger everything seems... then at the end someone checks them, and the realize they didnt even know they used their diapers! XD

Oh yes, that’s a classic. Somehow a toddler wearing a full diaper without them noticing isn’t something I’ve written in a scene, but sure is a super cute way to show their ignorance.

Yeah, there aren't as many cloth diapers in stories and art. Many tv shows with toilet humor have depicted diaper usage in many different ways, with most being mostly unrealistic. But that's the fun of it I think.

Any toddler character in a show being unaware that they indeed messed themselves can be rather comedic, especially if they are deeply focused on something and aren't paying attention. In fact, I almost want to try that with my tiger cub character David from my story: The Lavinzo Perspective.

To me, I like extremely poofy diapers. More specifically, I like the idea of diapers meant to worn for an extended period of time whilst remaining hygienic and comfortable. There's the added cute factor of a good diaper waddle from the wearer's legs being spread apart, impeding movement. It can also lend credence to messing scenes because if a diaper can withstand a normal load, then a really big boom-boom would really give the extra-poofy diaper a run for its money.

There's also the bonus that you can have a scene of the wearer wiggling their diapered bottom as a way to either show off their pamps to the world, taunt another person, a way to dance, a form of stimming, or just a way to show off how big these diapers are.

Bowel movements impeding movements is a good one, yea, and instances where ones dirty diaper dragging along the floor while they’re crawling or waddling are extra silly.

Diaper butt shaking is a good one too, and the “saggy diaper dance” is my favorite take on said trope given its both a way for tots to be their silly selves and show their parents they poopied while their droopy diaper swings between their legs.

I said "poofy diapers", not "poopy diapers".

Oh, I know. Diapers so poofy that sitting causes clouds of baby powder to burst from the sides are good too. I was just using messy diapers to further your points of impeding movement and bottom shaking, as messing scenes also accentuate said ideas.

I see. I personally think a character wiggling their diapered tush makes for a good setup for a diaper messing scene as they're sticking their bottom out, so I can see them accidentally unloading their bowels unexpectedly.

Oh yes, indeed. A bottom’s movements could certainly lead to the other form of a bottom’s movements, haha.

I'm not sure if this constitutes as a trope per say, but I like the exaggeration of how much these fictional diapers, made from the same materials as in the real world or not, can hold, wet or solid. In fact, I don't know if you've ever heard of this show or found it yourself, but there's this show called "Let's Go, Bananas!", that features a toddler character named Piper, and in the episode, "Mom-and-Daughter Day Disaster, " the side story has the father of the Tiger-Zelle family, who are a mix of tigers and gazelles, run all over town trying to find someplace to change her, and her diaper gets so big and full, she ends up blocking the door of a castle.

Haven’t heard of that show until now, but yes, if my stories are anything to go by, I sure enjoy depicting diapers with comical amounts of capacity.

Then you should check out clips on YouTube, especially if they involve Piper, assuming you use that site, or look the show up on Google. Just type out "Let's Go bananas piper" or "Let's Go bananas piper your diaper", and you'll see what I mean.

I think mine would be subverted expectation in a scenario where a character who's wearing a diaper(for the first time or has wore before), tries desperately not to use their diaper and ultimately ends up failing and using their diaper, but instead of being upset or sad for not being able to hold it in time, they get really happy and excited for having a messy diaper, be because they loved the feeling of being in this state, or because the trauma of having accident made them realize they are a baby and they are supposed to be using their diapers, changing their mindset to a childish one while they are in a messy diaper.

Yea, and I also like how the discomfort of having to hold it in contributes to what causes a character to further realize diapers aren’t so bad when bladders/bowels that can’t hold it in anymore bring about swift and sudden surges of relief and warmth as everything is let loose into their diaper; I can totally imagine a toddler trying not to mess themselves for minutes amidst trying to make it to the potty only for that to cause them to associate their diapers with the sensations of sweet relief overriding any sense of shame when all that pressure is purged into their Pampers
