hi! looking to ask some questions to anyone who may be following me, or see this on my profile!

are there good alternatives to paypal (that are available in canada)? the options i know currently are Ko-FI but im unsure if they're a good platform. in my experience they have been good around 2020 but its been too long for me to know if they've changed up their way of paying out money & fees.

i do have a paypal, of course its just that i would like avoiding using it & avoid remaking it. remaking a paypal account is a whole can of worms i hated doing already once before, considering changing emails doesn't really stop a stalker from harassing you on paypal of all places. because yes, some people are crazy enough to send you money and put in the paypal message "if you dont talk to me by sunday ill hurt you for blocking me" and admit theyre blackmailing you. im sure i still have the emails regarding that somewhere

this is in hopes of reopening adopts again, if not outright opening commissions! my previous adopts using SCPkid bases on old accounts sold very well so id like to do that again here... or even outright try custom designs again. (i plan on opening commissions either way, its more just a fact that opening them with my old paypal is very last resort)
