November 2025 Writing Journal: Holy fuck!

Well uh... damn. I had one amazing month for writing guys, and luckily, once again, no major life events coming up to fuck me!
Well I mean, I did pick up Animal Crossing New Horizons again after almost 3 years of not playing, and got drawn in trying to catch rare fish, but as time consuming as that was it at least wasn't as brutal as my Satisfactory addiction from earlier this year. I spent basically all Saturday trying to catch a fucking Golden Trout, but that wasn't enough to throw me off track.
In fact, I even passed what I had originally planned to write for the month too, so let's get to it!

Well uh... wow! I had planned to write 77K words as a sort of stretch goal for the month and I actually friggin exceeded it! Granted, I expected 50K of that to be focused into Blightwrath as one big WriMo chunk, but my brain apparently had other ideas. Brain decided that it wanted to spread out my creative juice across a ton of different projects. Mutagen Origins especially grabbed me by my ladyballs this month and refused to let go until I finished a whole new chunk of it. And sure I didn't get TWO comms done this month like I had hoped, but I did finish drafting one for Kimil! I did talk to Nimbus though and we spent a good deal of time sketching out a plan for a MUCH larger long-form story stretching across multiple comm slot chunks though, and I am very excited to start on that soon!
And well... damn. That cleared my 2025 writing goal! It cleared my stretch goal even! My total is now 350,019 words written in 2025, so my deficit is obliterated and stretch goal is smashed! 🥳🎉🎊
I am simultaneously elated and very very tired, lol
I guess technically this means I'm now at a surplus but I'm not even gonna bother calculating it. I'm gonna call this month an absolute victory and take a victory lap as I head into MFF next weekend. Then, well, I'll have the whole month of December without needing to write a word!
DECEMBER 2025 WRITING GOALS
Of course, just because I met my writing goals for the year doesn't mean I'm done. Oh no, you may have noticed but there were still quite a lot of red Xs on my queue up there. I have all these rough drafts done but my editing queue has grown immense. That means this month my objectives are gonna be pretty darn simple! I hereby declare that December 2025 for me shall be OOPS ALL EDITING MONTH!

-Editing of Crossing of the Paths - Book 2: Darkness & Light - Chunk 6: 34,715 words to edit

Yeah. Yeeeaahh. Woof. My previous record for most words edited in a single month was 122,040 words back in July 2023. If I make my new goal this month I'll almost double that record. Granted, in July 2023 that was also done on top of like a full 50K words I also wrote, and I don't really plan to do any new writing at all this month aside from whatever loose words get added during the editing, so I'll have all month entirely to focus on said editing.
I'll start with Kimíl's New Look of course since that was a comm and Kimíl is waiting for the final draft now. But after that, I'll edit where the muse takes me and just hope I can get it all. Who knows, Nimbus might just push me to get some of her story done too if we keep exchanging fun ideas, but I'm not gonna formally count that right now.
So yeah, if things go as planned, then you my illustrious watchers can expect a deluge of finished story chunks to start landing in your inbox over the course of December! Keep your eyes peeled for lots of kinky fun, and wish me luck!
