tldr : It's a fucking burning pile of shit.
1. They sent me an email indeed. But the problem was it was sent by "iffy" , not "Gumroad". And the mail ended up in a spam filter.
Meaning there was no way i would have known in time, And the mail format looked suspicious, Until i searched google to find Iffy is AI-assisted content filtering system
made by Gumroad. It warned me about non-compliant contents. ( https://x.com/zi0808/status/1996228295864483980 )
2. After that i just screamed at support ticket saying exactly what i'm frustrated with, And then suddenly i got a reply in email.
And guess what? It's not even human response. AI-generated. ( https://x.com/zi0808/status/1996231970976596347 )
3. I have no idea of knowing that my account is suspended on my Gumroad site, Rather i have to click the stupid link "iffy" gave me
to figure out what, when, why i was suspended. And it does not get better the said "offending content" are something i took down from my shop anyway.
Most of the other models i released recently were deemed "Compliant" (which is weird on its own too, because they were NSFW as well )
4. Literally the only difference the offending content and the compliant one had was the presence of NSFW screenshot.
Also for site itself? They still have option to mark your content as "adult only" ( https://x.com/zi0808/status/1996236068979712382 )
If they truly want the site to be "clean", this shouldn't even be an option. Like what?
Since i already took everything down from there i submitted an appeal so i can at least unfreeze the balance and get the money back.
And mainly, I'm not pissed that they decided to ban NSFW, I'm more pissed on how shit poor of a job they did to let the creator know what's fine and not
in proper time and method, and literally just making AI handle it all, And not even keeping their site ui / ux up to date to reflect these changes
making people think NSFW is still somewhat allowed.

Times are definitely tough for everyone. I do have faith that things will be forced to improve soon though. None of these companies are profitable and taxpayers are all starting to feel livid.
