Okay, I had this in my head for sometime. The only way you can get these governments to respect your privacy is by suing them, not the big tech or discord. If the governments are gonna force this they better prepare for whatever consequences come. Because in many instances the big tech clearly wouldn't implement this under normal circumstances YES, there are concerns with kids being online. But incidental or not, if the governments want that control they better take responsibility & the consequences that come with it

Finally someone speaks up about suing the government over censorship because everyone I've talked to say no it won't happen because a certain individuals in the office because they're appointed by him it doesn't matter the Supreme Court is supposed to keep neutrality and they have shown time and time again to keep their neutrality yes they may have lean left or right but most of the time they kept the neutrality to a point and at this point they have shown to uphold the Constitution and the amendments so at this point someone needs to sue the government for violating our internet privacy cuz I know it violates the first and Fourth Amendment from what I am able to read

If you want to sue any specifics you should look up who wrote each of those bills and focus on them.Or primary them if you know any of them recognizing your state.
More importantly, you guys should keep calling your rep, and please be polite. You're right to be mqad but we dn't wanna go chewing heads off whene xplaining why we don't want ANY of these bills to be passed.

Well then folks, start suing these people. Perhaps they'll finally take the hint.

ALSO: it has to go throguh the senate next. and then the president to sign anyone of those checkpoints can have it fail there. That's actually designed to be that way to balance out and stop bad bills from getting much of a grip

So I read up on it to see what's going on. It's looking like these were advanced to be discussed and marked up by the full energy and commerce committee. Not the House proper. Again, while I generally expect them to get out of committee, there is a lot of pushback on both sides of the aisle towards pretty much all of these. So at the very least, there is a foothold for getting some of these to just outright die like KOSA did the last couple times. It is a big midterm election year too.

That it is, and I doubt the rational ones want to sacrifice a shot at the mid terms.
