MFF 2025 - A Fresh Start
General
Yo!! It's me again back for another yearly update. MFF went amazingly well!
We did a full 7 days again this year (Wednesday to Tuesday) and I actually tried the Hyatt Regency breakfast buffet for the first time ever since MFF moved to the hotel in 2010; it was delish! I got to see I've Made Too Much Pasta in concert and they rocked but it did take me out of the Alley for half the day on Saturday, so apologies if you were looking for me! Also I spent like 3 hours in the Dealer's Den and STILL didn't see everything!
An interesting tidbit, my first MFF was in 2005 so this is my 20th anniversary for Midwest Furfest! I can't believe it's been 20 years. It was 1,066 people back then and it's grown to nearly 17,000 since then. It's pretty friggin' awesome seeing how much the community and cons have grown since back then. I'm thrilled that I can still attend each and every year; it is a guaranteed jolly good time. Also, the amount of cutie adorable-ass quality fursuits this year blew me away; holy crap! It makes me want to get one for myself more and more each year. Oh and hey, I didn't get con crud this year which is a major plus!
My good friend Squeezy aka
Squeezy the Red Fox and MFF roomie for 10 years surprised me with a couple commissions he nabbed for me while I was busy truckin' away in the Artist Alley as usual.
One from
purplepardus and one from
Nyagirlnya of my big booty Dragoness! Also got a late last night trade with
Cherri - Fleecia and got some Felicia-ized gift art from
Janus !
I'll be sending out the scans shortly and if you have an art scan for me, please send it my way. It felt good to touch pencil to paper again for the weekend and get some art done and I will be finishing what I didn't get to at the con soon! šš¤šš¤
So you may have noticed I haven't posted much at all this year ^^; There's a reason for that.
2025 was a year of the highest highs and a very low point for me. I was in a steady great relationship with a special someone which I admit was taking up a majority of my time and interest. Well, that all came to a sudden end in August and I would love to say that it was just another one that didn't work out. But if I'm being honest, I'd tell you that my heart was shattered. š It wasn't my first major heartbreak, but it was still very rough for a couple months but it was something that I truly needed to grow and find myself. It's much better this way and very grateful for the experience and for our continued friendship. Attending MFF this year reminded me of what I'm all about and where I belong. It reminded me of who I am at my happiest: I draw smut - I have zany, wacky kinks, and Iām absolutely not changing that for anyone. So I'll soon continue my quest to find the right one but for now, I'm gonna stay warm indoors and doodle. All that being said, thank you to everyone who is reading this and still checks out my new stuff here, on Bluesky, or on Pixiv. Big thanks to everyone at MFF who hung out with me and stopped by my Alley table to say hello. Onwards and upwards, always! šš¤šš¤
My next secret project is to update my business cards which are like 10 years out of date at this point lol. Plus I want to make some prints to sell at the next MFF since people have been asking for years. I noticed there was a SEVERE lack of pregnancy/belly themed merch in the Dealer's Den which motivates me to try my hand attempting to make some yummy tummy merch in the form of stickers, pins, buttons, etc. Give me some time to CONCEIVE some belly-related ideas... š¼

Regardless, cool to see you around. Glad you're still having fun out there.
We'll contribute to your pregnancy push as best we can.
*tis be the curse of drawing slowly and asking many people to do art trades lol*
But yeah next year we can! But if ya ever wanna do a digital art trade, even a sketch or anything lemme know!
Your silence was noticed and deeply missed, but in all seriousness, I am very sorry you had to go through with such heartbreak, no one should.
Your art has always been a highlight of my browsing, and may or may not have contributed to my own desire for rounded filled bellies being a major turn on, so as I said in the beginning I Look forward to your return! Hope things continue to go well for you and we get to enjoy one of the best pregnancy artist on the sight again soon.
Good to hear from you, and why did the whole Business Card thing remind me of your RottWeiler tf from decades ago.
As for your heart, many of us are here for you if you need someone to chat with, or just lean on for a bit.
You're awesome hon, and I know you'll keep being so.
