Hey all-

I wanted to drop in and give a quick update. While story output is not where I want it to be yet, I actually do have some good news I want to share with you all. First of all, some general life updates- I unfortunately have developed some long-term digestive issues; this culminated in a bad case of kidney stones that, thankfully, have passed, but left me incapacitated for quite a few days. I also had to run out to help with a small family emergency, but I actually have seen, for the first time in a very long time, a change in fortunes.

Many of you may know that I've had a long standing position with a local financial journal as a freelance author- after months of radio silence, they've reached out to me after a management re-shuffle not only looking to settle any outstanding pay stubs, but also guarantee that they're going to up freelance writing this year- a boon for me that could not come soon enough. I've also cleared out my two biggest projects left on my queue, with plans to get at least three stories out in short order- this will be another large story requiring some formatting before posting, so watch out for that tomorrow.

Again, I thank you all for your continued support and patience. I know many of you have been waiting for a long while, but I will be able to deliver results very shortly.
