Karno's Rare-Because-He-Never-Has-Time Blather:
So I posted an editorial recently where I claimed that explaining even the simplest of facts to the red-hat cult-members was pointless:
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11303676/
Mere words were never going to extract their heads from their colons - their adoration of Prump would be completely unaffected, even if you showed them video of him raping and eating toddlers.
But why was this so? What magic made these creeps so loyal to the biggest disaster ever to afflict the White House? Turns out the answer is painfully simple. Mr. Brunelle ( https://www.mrbrunelle.com ) explained to me that
"To smart people like us, Trump's decisions seem incredibly stupid....but to stupid people, they seem smart.
They think he's a genius, because he's making the same decisions they'd make if they were in his position.
Thus, morons are happy because, after many years of being told what to do by smart people, Trump gave THEM the chance to finally run things."
SO obvious after some clever bastard finally lays it out. We're a representative republic, and at last the mean-spirited morons of the USA are represented by one of their own tribe. It's a disaster for everyone else - actually, no, it's a disaster for everyone, them included, they're just too dumb to see it. Ho boy, it's gonna be a hard two-and-a-half years.
To wrap up, some words we might find useful in this era:
COCKWOMBLE: A person so stupid, they don't realize they're dumb. On the contrary, they think themselves smarter than everyone else, and are not dissuaded by reality's refusal to go along with this delusion.
DUNDERWHELP: A malevolent moron. The opposite of the fool with a heart of gold, the dunderwhelp's desire to harm his fellow-citizens is only limited by the fact that he is profoundly stupid.
KNIPPERDOLLIN: A fanatical idiot. Named after Bernard Knipperdollin, fanatical leader of the Munster Anabaptists from 1533 to 1535. His fanaticism makes the Knipperdollin extremely dangerous. He'll commit any atrocity he believes Glorious Leader wants.
If you can't simply shoot him, deflect him from yourself by sending him off on a wild-goose chase, preferably of the suicide-mission sort. Don't worry if the story you spin him is ridiculous. Remember you're dealing with an idiot, so reason and logic are worse than useless.
MATTOID: A semi-insane person. Someone just sane enough to function in society, but revealed as a lunatic by any closer inspection.
I love English. It's big, fat and shameless, the Pro Wrestler of languages.

Last night on a variety show I watched, a guy who was born without forearms and legs was talking about how he was taught to pull positivity to himself by thinking about the positive rather than focus on the negative, even when doctors didn't expect him to get past his teen years (and now he's a father of two).
The line I read once and always tend to live by is 'I always expect the worst. That way, when it doesn't happen, I can be pleasantly surprised.'
But I don't think all MAGAs are stupid; they're just fanatics, and you're completely right about the fact that now 'one of their own is in power' and it's making them feel free to express that darkness within them... kind of like the internet does for some people who feel the anonymity lets them show their entire ass to the world, except in real life.
The fact that he's up there on the world stage stylin' and profilin' and not giving a shit what anyone thinks has encouraged those people who were never able to do the same that they too could one day run a country or be in a position of control. The thought that this 'Icon of Sin' (Doom reference) can be dethroned would mean they would have to return to the shadows and the dark corners of the internet and their private hate meetings (hood wearing or Swastika wearing, whichever it is) and not be able to change anything. The longer they keep him there, the more he has a chance to make it so being like them is considered, if not good or great, NORMAL enough for them to never hide their true selves again.
It's a fully calculated thing. Evil, in the most direct form short of random murder or destruction. And they'll do anything at all to hold on to it, including bringing their own nation down around their ears, like a defeated anime villain blowing up their secret base with the heroes inside, knowing they can't win, but hoping to kill the heroes before they can escape.
Things have reached the point that I've been convinced for some time the Nazis are in the government *deep*. That entire 'Project 2026' thing? Yup, that's them. I almost feel one of the major reasons nothing has happened in the way of the Republicans trying to rein in Trumps madness is because of unseen threats and fear as much as anything else; possibly the same is going on for the Democrats, who have been getting handed all kinds of good reasons to push for him getting ousted, but not a peep is being heard. Of course this is just theory crafting bullshit, so don't take me as if I know anything (hopefully obviously if I'm still posting stuff).
Too many people also don't know that mainstream media is not American owned companies.
Sounds like it's Trump fanboys and former fanboys the ones who need to get in tune with what people outside Fox News and the MAGAsphere actually think.
...Or maybe not. I don't have a religion to make me ignore reality that much anyway.
The first is that they're desperate. They felt sold out, betrayed, abandoned, used and ignored. If you recall the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton's entire campaign message could be summed up as "I am the Queen! It's MY turn to be in charge! I am entitled to this, now shut up and fall in line!" Which was even worse than Obama's "Hope and change! I'm promising you hope and change and good things and pay no attention to how you're not actually getting any of those things! Just focus on my charisma and my empty words, and ignore how my policies are to the right of any Republican!"
(seriously, look at the history of the Federal minimum wage. It used to be raised every few years as habitual custom... and then Obama quietly ended that custom. And nobody talked about it, and now politicans are pretending that raising it again will be an unprecedented action that will destroy the country because socialism is bad and ooo scary commies!)
So of course they cling to Trump. Because if Trump's not their ally... then who is? They have nobody. As far as they can tell, their choices are "the orange man who sounds like a pompous buffoon," and "the people who would laugh if they found us dead in a ditch."
The second reason: all the people calling them crazy and stupid for voting for Trump. I sincerely do not understand why so many people think that hurling insults and abuse is going to convince anyone to change their opinion. Seriously, you want to talk about stupid people thinking they're smart? How about we take a look at everyone who saw the marketing campaigns for a decade's worth of video game disasters and cinematic flops, all of them consisting of "you're a stupid bigot and you need to buy the product to prove you're not!" and then said, "that sounds like the perfect way to persuade people to change their minds about a reality TV host who actually makes them feel special for once?"
Um, did you read the editorial? It's message is that the MAGAs are NOT going to change their opinion, no matter what Trump does. It makes no difference what you say to them, so why not tell the harsh truth?
Because you're right, they have nobody. Both political parties are owned by the same cadre of billionaires. Prump managed to turn his compulsive lying into political power by telling the lies the despised and abandoned working class wanted to hear. But that was his only trick. His moronic flailing about will wreck the country, leaving the MAGAs even worse off. Along with the rest of us. Whispering sweet nothings to MAGAs will not change this.
And honestly, people who bought into the culture war and decided their political affiliation based on it were always hopeless. They were getting propagandized one way or another, online outrage is one thing but voting someone who was always clearly incompetent, openly racist and corrupt because there are too many videogames with black people being made? Sometimes you can't fix stupid and that's fine, but MAGA seems to take pride on standing up for the worst of the worst things humanity can represent. It's no surprising that sensible people are giving them flack for it today.
Let me cut through to ask a simple question: what's YOUR solution, then? Violence? Because if you believe they're beyond hope of change or redemption, what else is there? Are you prepared to make war upon half the country's population? And if so, what makes you so certain that THEY'RE the fanatics?
Again: You genuinely believe that MAGA are a legitimate danger to the country. Your options are: persuasion, or violence. Unless you can think of another solution?
Call them out whenever possible, let them feel the unrest they have created, lawfully decline service and hospitality.. Use any way which one should be allowed to show disapproval thorugh non-violent forms of resistance. I also doubt the people still supporting Trump or MAGA are "half the country's population" at this point to be honest. Those who still do regardless of being lied to over and over? That can only be defined as either fanaticism or complete idiocy.
It's not just about MAGA being a legitimate danger to the country, see ICE or pardoned capitol rioters but also Trump illegal, harmful actions taking place all over the world. He is incompetent, unlawful, corrupt and dangerous and the world is suffering because of it. It's time to take action, use all of democratic and legal tools to take Trump out of power, and if remaining MAGAs aren't helping, best they can do is get out of the way.
2: It's highly ironic that you'd accuse MAGA of being fanatical, given the behavior of the "TDS" crowd. I was a Sanders delegate in 2016, but I've been called MAGA for saying things like "Trump is guilty of X and Y, but not Z," or "censorship laws supposedly aimed at "hate speech" WILL be used against progressives as well." Heck, I've been called MAGA (and a Putin puppet, and a bunch of other things) for criticizing Democrats from the left (remember the "$2000 checks out the door, the moment I get into office," and how it turned into "means test for months before we send out $1200 checks to SOME of the population and pretend we just gave them a massive windfall?")
It's not MAGA who have been normalizing political violence. A loooot of Americans got massively turned off by the way "antifa" celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk (whose crime was "going onto college campuses and saying things that people disagreed with."). Claiming that anyone who disagrees with the group is "just as bad as the enemy," and using violence to suppress political speech you disagree with? That's the OPPOSITE of "anti-fascist." That's being a Brownshirt.
3: Trump's bad, but he's not that bad. He's not even close to being the worst. And the more the fanatics on the left scream about Trump being Hitler's reincarnation and also the antichrist, the more it repels everyone outside the echo chambers. Look up the name Henry Kissinger, and the horrific things he was responsible for - and how he, and people like him, dominated the Federal government for half a century. In the 21st century alone we had POTUSes who ran TORTURE PROGRAMS. One tortured civilians because they were suspected terrorists. His successor tortured whistleblowers because snitches get stitches.
And despite the claims that Trump is trying to distract from the Epstein files, everything we've seen thus far indicates that the only real secret Trump wants to hide is that he was the only oligarch that Epstein DIDN'T invite onto his rape island. Trump was apparently the unpopular guy who wasn't allowed to come to the orgies... but everybody else was (and "everybody else" means "pretty much everybody in Hollywood, every executive of a Fortune 500 company, and every politician in D.C.").
You ignore evidence and facts which are obvious for most of the world already. There are testimonies of Epstein victims involving Trump directly, we have the letters of Epstein himself to Trump describing how close both were to eachother (closer than any figure from Hollywood or politician) and also ignore the fact the regime has been redacting names of perpetrators while leaving victims exposed. You keep falling for the coverup and lies no matter what because the one thing you're afraid of is actually admitting the people who were most proactively against Trump being the ones who were actually in the right.
Also real talk, Charlie Kirk had it coming. Maybe don't spread KKK propaganda and hatred against LGBT and minorities for a living while also being close to a pedo-fascist authoritarian oligarch like Trump then find surprising the violence you propagate through hate speech and ideology escalates to real life consequences and people not showing empathy towards you.
We are done here anyway, F**k ICE, F**k MAGA and mostly important, F**k Trump and the Axis of Epstein.
Don't attack the leader, don't attack the doctrine, just the methods of control.
