The Other Comic (Need Some Help)
I'm of course refering to my comic idea "Stag", which trades the SciFi setting of Elysium Gate for the 1970's. The band in the comic offers a bit of challenge: presenting music in a written medium. No matter what I do, the sound of the band Stag is always going to be left of to the imagination of the reader as long as it's a comic. There's two ways I can go about this and I was wondering which one you would like to see the most:
The first is to create entirely new "songs" for Stag to play which would take the form of poetry with implied music acomponing it. This involves the reader keeping in mind they, as a band, are somewhere between a 70's glam rock band and an arena rock band, and emulate that kind of sound in most of their songs. Particularly I always imagined Stag sounding a lot like Sweet or Slade.
The second option is to have the band cover acutall songs from that era, roughly all of the 70's and a little of the 60's as far as available material. This way the reader would already be familiar with all the songs and would know exactly what they sound like. In this way Stag will follow a formula similar to The Blues Brothers or Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I might try that though, I want to see if this gets anymore votes though
