OK, When the switched to the new site, I went and created a profile.
It lasted roughly a week, then mysteriously just POOFED. I hadn't even really DONE anything with it besides a pic and a basic cut and paste from the old site.
It irritated me a little, but I chalked it up to one of the database hiccups that a new site can have.
Created another.
What is it? 3 months later now? However long it is, I went to log in and it said "invalid username or password".
Odd...
So I do the "forgot password" option, put in my email (ivanotter@gmail.com) and the capchca (sp).
Says "invalid email address".
Was about to shoot off a message, but go and CHECK MY MAIL to make sure I have the right one.
Yep, all the FX emails are in there.
So I shoot off an email, saying this is the second time this has happened.
So here is my bitch: FX this is sort of inexcusable. 3 MONTHS (or so) afterwards (and taking down the original site), you lose my profile again (and yes, AGAIN, as in second time).
So the admins (which I know the names, but no point in putting them here) need to get their heads out their collective asses, because I bet I am not the only one this has happened to, and their old site, while a bit lacking in features, I vastly preferred. AT least it was STABLE seeming.

I am seriously not thinking of doing a new profile. Know of any decent alternatives?
They're still doing maintainence. They have been under maintainance mode for some time. Folks who skip the frontpage might not have noticed (Like me) :x

Wow, Someone needs to learn how to do an EVERYTHING REDIRECTS trick. Like when FA is down, You could type in http://www.furaffinity.net/WAARRRGRBL and it'l take ya back to the BRB screen.
Or my memory is just failing me about the front screen. Not like I really payed attention, it didn't have PR0N!!!
