But not everyone is retarded when it comes to hand/eye coordination.
I may be guilty of texting at the wheel. But I'm also guilty of not getting caught doing it.
I can drive and text at the same time all while keeping my attention on the road at all times.
With that being said, Kahuki has nothing to fear about me running him over if I'm texting at the wheel.
It's up to the driver (including me as well) to be responsible for his/her actions at the wheel when driving.
I can drive responsibly without having my phone in hand, and I do most of the time.
It's really those more important texts that I choose to answer when I'm driving.
So pretty much everyone is safe from me when I'm on the road.
People guilty of this will always give the excuse "well I'm not like that, I'm responsible with it." It's justification.
That's really the reason why I don't do it nearly as much as I did before they passed the law.
