Wooo, so busy! But not busy enough to still watch movies! XD
And don't you guys fret none, I'm still in the art game, just gotta scheme my schemes first >=3
So, I'm sure you guys can tell what the title is about, I saw Robin Hood yesterday.
So, when we see movies like these, we can't help but compare it to the other incarnations of it, mostly Kevin Costner's Robin Hood (not more so Disney's Robin Hood or Men in Tights XD). The movie was more like a prequel to Robin Hood, like the first half of KC's Robin Hood when he came back from the Crusades but with even more story going on. After that, it goes off on its own story, different from how we see or know about Robin Hood. In a way, the movie kinda felt like something else than a Robin Hood movie. It sometimes felt a bit dragging at times but when the action kicked up, it kicked up X3
All the characters were pretty cool, but the one that stood out to me the most was Prince John. I know I was supposed to hate him, but the fact was the guy was funny. He always seem to have a funny remark for different situations, its kinda hard to hate the guy. I felt kinda sorry that he had this whole kingdom like he always wanted but he's stuck with soo much debt from the crusade he had to tax people. Although he could secure loans but he was too proud for that.
Oh well, my 2 cents on that, cool movie, go see it if you like Robin Hood =3
