Let me be up front. I, don't, like, horror.

Never have, never will like TV or movies or books with excessive violence, gore or themes where people are literally scared to death. Dark themes just aren't my bag.

Usually.

However, recently someone did some fan-art on DA, about a character from a recent anime show called "Highschool of the Dead".

Granted the premise is typical Zombie schlock -- a cast of characters (nie high school teens) in a modern day setting, survive the outbreak of a massive pandemic that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. The rest of the series deals with their physical survival, and then their eventual dealing with the collapse of society, threats from dangers other than the zombie menace and even the dissolution of their own morals to survive.

But, I managed to locate the episodes on YT and . . . well bite me if I say that the series looks interesting enough for me to stick around.

May look for this one if it ever releases on DVD.
