I just got home from work, and was given some sad news. My cat Rascal, in my opinion the most relaxed and loving cat in the world, was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. He was given three months to live on the outside. I wish I could say it was unexpected, but he has been getting very thin recently. Even so, it hit hard. For fourteen years, Rascal has been my friend, my companion, and on occasion, my consoler when I'm feeling down. I'm going to do my best to enjoy what time I have left with him, and when the time comes, say goodbye with dignity. I love you, rascal.
