For anyone who read the last journal I just wanted to say that I am now safe and sound AND I was able to make it back to my house. The fires never got close enough to do any damage and thankfully the smoke never swamped the house so everything is fine.

I am currently out of internet though (the tower was damaged in the fire) so I might be slow to respond to anything for a while. In the meantime I'm using the internet while I'm on campus to get things done.
