The tablet is back on sale! 17th journal

This is my head.
It's back! The sale is Back! For those looking for a graphics tablet but can't afford Wacom's super high prices, there's an inexpensive alternative. The DigiPro 6x8 tablet is on sale again for $40us after using a coupon. The link is here http://www.dealhack.com/archives/20.....et_w_cord.html . The coupon expires on Aug 4 so jump on it soon (though the sale seems to repeat every few months).
I bought this tablet earlier this year and is quite pleased with it. Much better than my old 4x5 tablet. I'm still using the original AAA battery that came with it. It's also light weight as thinner than my old one. And the 6x8 size I find works well for me, more useful than the 4x5 I used previously. And cheaper than what I paid for the old one many years ago.
I use the tablet mostly for Open Canvas sessions of late (mostly in my scrap gallery if you want to check out some examples). I did find that the "inking" won't start if I move the pen too fast. I think it's OC fault though since it has a lot of bugs. Plus it's old and haven't been updated quite some time. Something I learn to deal with. Once it starts, I can move much faster. Just have to start the penstroke slower and then accelerate.
I didn't really find any other issues. Works in Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro as well as a few other art programs. The tablet won't totally replace the mouse, but works well along the side of it. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
