There's no limit [wolf, fox, otter, dragon, human, car, rock, water, etc] except those imposed specifically by the rules.

exactly and I would hope that dragons are so ingrained within the furry community that they'd be inseparable from it. I'm hoping this is just a joke because it really seems like a non issue for me.

ditto. some of us have draconic alts. don't forget, we've had a couple trolls hanging around, lately.

I love dragons and such, but I am annoyed by people who have pokemon, digimon, or other commercial character fursonas as they didn't even really create them.

to each their own, fan art can have it's place though, although bad sonic art was always a pet peeve of mine

Oh I don't mind fanart, but it's just people who claim they ARE a digimon, pokemon, etc.

Not to interrupt a perfectly good, surprisingly rational, chain of statements, but I'm a firm believer in the theory that if someone thought it up then somewhere, in some universe (yes I support a multiverse theory), it exists. Not in our universe, perhaps, but somewhere!

Oh I think that dragons did and still exist on Earth people just cant find them. I don't believe in cartoon character multiverse stuff though.

I dunno, I can see the fun in enjoying some kind of fictional universe like with Harry Potter, Star Wars, or Star Trek, it's why I'd like to make those up some day.

I've always defined a Furry as a character that is either an animal or a creature based on an animal. Things like dragons, pokemon, and digimon aren't real animals but they are based on animals. If the 'not real' breaks the furry definition then furries can't exist themselves as I've never seen a fox with human hair and clothes talking to someone.

Considering the kinds of people that the furry fandom attracts in the first place, its a little ridiculous for furs to be against others of their own community.
