Need Advice about going to FC!

Further Confusion
First off, I really know no one in the fandom, so I dont know if it's worth going in that case. Though I do have my best friend who's a non-fur who'd go with me.
Questions!:
Should I go?
What should I do?
Who's going?
And junk. I live like 20 min from SJ and just realized that's where it's held.
Currently in fact finding mode and deciding if I should go.

-What I usually do is wander around the convention, see what's going on, meet new people and bump into friends/people I know (both online and offline)
It's also a good idea to meet up with some friends at the con to have some fun together, lunch/dinner, etc.
Also room parties. Lots and lots of room parties!
