You should find and listen to the whole thing, not just the first movement. There are two more movements, and the third especially is breathtaking when performed properly.

Wow thanks! Would have been years before I found out there's more. I still gotta say the first movement is my favorite though. Love haunting melodies.

A lot of people feel that way. In fact, I found out while researching this that Beethoven was kind of annoyed that people liked this particular composition so much, because he felt that some of his other works were much better and more deserving.

Makes sense, alot of things seem to go that way. Regardless, it's a masterpiece, and so are his other works.
